I bet you’ve seen the Vessel NYC on Instagram many times! In case you wanted to know more about this new landmark of New York City, I documented my visit and put it all together on this blog (video included).
I was extremely excited about seeing this brand new master piece of a building and the I’m happy to say it met my expectations! (that’s why I’m sharing it with you).
Needless to say this is a great place for photos, and every angle can be a cool shot. The Vessel is not just a pretty Instagram spot, it’s actually pretty cool to walk through the endless stairs while admiring the forthcoming area of the Hudson Yards.
Now, the reason I wanted to go to the Vessel so bad is because I saw several videos on how they built it, and let me tell you: it’s incredible! I love modern architecture and this interactive artwork is definitely worth the visit, believe the hype!
When you’re done, go and follow the High Line and then venture into Chelsea.

WHAT TO DO IN THE HUDSON YARDS?
What is there? Stairs! Endless interconnecting flights of stairs! What’s good about that? Well, first of all, just look at the structure, the design is outstanding but it also offers great views of New York. Next to it you’ll see the Shed which is another magnificent architectural gem.

THE VESSEL TICKETS
The entrances is free, but you can book tickets in advance to make sure you don’t waste the journey all the way to the Hudson Yards. We didn’t book tickets, just showed up and a few feet away from the entrance there was a little booth where a staff member gave us our tickets with an assigned time. We only had to wait for 10 minutes until it was our time. During that time we shot some photos from the outside. Go and find alternative perspectives because that’s what the Vessel was made for!

Explore the different sides of the structure and don’t forget to look around, there’s really awesome views everywhere.
When you’re done inside you can go next door to the Luxury mall where you’ll find stores like Kate Spade, Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton but also Zara, H&M, Sephora and Lululemon.
You can find more details on their website
