GOLDEN HOUR IN LONDON

Siempre andamos persiguiendo Golden Hours…
En caso de que no sepas que es Golden Hour, se trata del corto tiempo luego del amanecer o justo antes del atardecer cuando la luz natural directa (y súper intensa para fotos) se vuelve más tenue y es perfecta para fotografiar. También es llamada “hora mágica” por que puede crear dramáticos cielos con tonos espectaculares.

In case you don’t know what Golden Hour is, it is a brief period after sunrise or before sunset when the harsh sun light turns into subtle indirect lights. It’s also called Magic Hour because it can create magic and dramatic skies. It simply is the most beautiful moment of the day and the perfect time to make pictures.

Para empezar a compartir mis más recientes aventuras (2 meses, 2 maletas!) y todos los outfits que me he puesto, quise publicar unas fotos impresionantes que mi fotógrafo (Ollie ❤️) capturó.

Si te preguntas por qué Londres se ve tan solo y calmado en algunas de las fotos, es por que fueron tomadas a las 4 am! Las demás fueron tomadas cerca de las 9:30 pm (por eso amo el verano).

Para este viaje que empezó en Londres, llené mis maletas con prendas que diseñé (e hice) inspirada en los increíbles destinos que iba a explorar y muchos pudieron ver el proceso creativo a través de mis Instastories.

To begin with sharing my latest adventures and what I wore on each of them, I wanted to put out here some incredible shots my photographer (and better half, Ollie) captured.

If you’re wondering why London looks so quiet in some of these pictures it’s because they were taken during sunrise at 4 am, the others were taken at sunset around 9:30 pm.

For this trip that started in London I filled up my suitcase with clothes that I made inspired by the incredible locations I was going to explore.

Este es mi primer look

Esta blusa la hice desde cero. Diseñé el estampado de la tela inspirada en las diferentes especies de insectos de la misma familia de las abejas que se encuentran por toda Inglaterra. Son insectos que para mi representan trabajo duro, poder y además me parecen súper estilizadas!
Si pensamos en tendencias de estampados veraniegos de inmediato vamos a encontrar piñas, bananos y hojas tropicales… los cuales a estas alturas encuentro totalmente repelentes ya que han sido “trendy” por demasiado tiempo. Y es que si tienes una oportunidad para resaltar y ser un poquito diferente… hay que hacerlo! Es más fácil de lo que piensas.

This is my first look.

I’m wearing a blouse I made from scratch. I also designed the print inspired by all the different species of insects from the same family of bees you can find flying around England. These are insects that represent hard work, power and to me, they look incredibly stylish!
If you think of “Trendy Summer patterns” you’ll come across pineapples, bananas and tropical leaves… Which I find absolutely repelling because they’ve been around for way too long. If there’s a chance to stand out from the crowd… do it! It’s easier than what you think.

Esta blusa hizo todo por el look. Si lo analizamos, el resto del outfit es súper sencillo; botines blancos, shorts de denim negros, gafas redondas y una pulsera minimalista de oro… lo digo de nuevo, ese es el poder de una prenda statement. –No te pierdas mis tips de estilo, no, no se tratan de seguir tendencias!–

Esta blusa la llamé WASPS (avispas) y pronto estará disponible para unas cuantas personas.

The blouse did everything for the look, if you think about it, the rest was pretty simple; white ankle boots , black denim shorts, round mirrored glasses and a minimal gold bracelet… once again, that’s the power of a statement piece.

I named this blouse WASPS and soon I will make it available to you.
