Yes, Paris…again! But like Audrey Hepburn said…” Paris is always a good idea”.
JARDINS DE TUILERIES or TUILERIES GARDES in english
You will find it between the Louvre and Place de la Concordia, it’s hard to miss it. It’s an espectacular public garden. It’s surrounded by history and it fascinates me to know that it was built in the 1500’s!
The first time I visited the Tuileries gardens there was a car event going on, it was chaotic but I still fell in love with the place. It’s like if it was a little oasis for the Parisians, where they go and seek tranquility. It’s normal to see people on their own, with no company, sitting on the green chairs that surround the fountains, they put their earphones on and disconnect themselves from the world. I also have to mention there’s ducks in the fountains!
The gardens are also a place where the locals meet and also the perfect place for a picnic! This time for us it was the best place where we could rest a little bit, eat croissants with chocolate and ice cram while we hid from the intense sun that was taking all our energy from us.
Speaking of gardes, have you check out my latest visit to the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles?
