I often visit Margate, a coast in southern England. My family happens to live there so we get to explore the surrounding areas and that’s how we ended up in Dover, a very well known port. Although the reasons this place is famous are not very jolly (World War II)… we managed to capture a more tranquille and positive vibe from a family outing.
THINGS TO DO IN DOVER IN A DAY:
- Visit Dover Castle
- Admire the White Cliffs of Dover
- Have tea at the South Foreland Lighthouse
